dragon wrasse - ask spider

I tot its known? They are not friendly, territorial, not reef safe.

Why do we use "My 2 cents worth" when 1 cents are not legal tender in Singapore anymore? Shouldn't it be 5 cents worth?

boxfish release toxic when stress some ppl don't like triggers as they are a nusiance destroying the rockwork to look for food

actually boxfish realeasing toxin is very rare.. its more because they are very prone to ich...

to add to list:

- anemone

- nudibranch

Just out of curiosity, why should anemones be avoided by newbies?

They are nearly impossible to keep alive by newbies. And they give newbies high blood pressure later on..

Always something more important than fish.

If I were a newbie, I would avoid mandarin, regal angel, potters angel, cleaner wrasse, clown tang, sea apples, nudibranchs, spanish dancers, anemones, flame scallop and moorish idol unless my water quality is stable and excellent and I am dedicated to give attention to them 24/7 in terms of feeding.

to be frank.. few weeks after I started out, I bought 2 very small (bout 1 -2 cm tall) anemones too.. till now they are still alive... only thing is they didn't grow a bit.. <_< (and no, I'm not talking about carpet anemones)

I think newbie can still keep these but start with the very simple and very small kinds.. dun try to get those fanciful coloured ones.. :P

Nudibranch is not meant for many reefers. They need special food that can be found in the ocean. They cannot survive in our tanks for long. I have read about such articles from books and internet.

Sea cucumbers can be avoided too. My friend's such creatures puke out the intestines in the tank. Rather disgusting!
