Anyone encountered? I've been keeping seahorses for past 2 months plus, and I always seem to have eaten seahorse near zoas... With missing eyeballs, chewed up mouth etc... Today I had a hole in my seahorses head. Anyone?

Same thought as Terry. I have housed 4 yellow tail and 2 Hippo SH with many Zoa frags and green palys before..no issue.

IMO, It's maybe other creature in your tank attack your sleeping SH in the nite.. !

Mantis shrimp?

Bobbit worms?

Bristle worms?

Or if you're lucky e legendary kick ###### nung chucks yellow sweat pants lee xiao long!! That could have messed with your sea horses!

Lol...jokes aside...maybe you could share more about your tank setup.

prime suspect: mantis shrimp.

I keep both seahorse and peacock mantis (both in seprate tank) n i know how powerful the "punch" and the speed mantis shrimp can create even to a hard shell clam.

i believe mysis wont eat seahorse eyeball, it gets eaten by seahorse instead.

For worms, unless seahorse is resting close to live rock but i suppose seahorse will have time to siam if one were to come close
