Sterilising New Sea Water

There's always a danger of introducing parasites into the DP when doing water change.

I was wondering if the long exposed UV lamps for Pond use be any good.

Tried using it in the DP for six hours and Chemo Therapied most of my fishes to death.

Bleached white the live rocks that had nice purple algae growth on it.

I had tat Thought to put inside sump but worry abt killing gd stuff. Maybe u can Just pour nsw in a pail n dump uv inside pail n run for a few hrs.
