"Things" attached to Clam - I.D

Hi All,

Yesterday I got this clam and it has "tube worm" look alike things attached to its shell. Does anyone know what it is? Should I try to remove them or juz leave them alone. Btw, it is of the same material as the clam's shell.

Pls advise.

The bottom circle looks like a kind of worm that will secrete "web" to catch its food... very irritating thing the web... i used a sharp point to try to kill it but it just withdraws inwards. Have it all over my tank and one on my clam as well....

Those on my clam are also secreting alot of "web".

quite easy to get rid, gently break it off your clam....I did it before...if not, it is very unsightly.....web extending near your precious clams

You'll end up focusing on the web than the nice clam mantles
