Hi,

Is Zeolite suitable for marine tank? Read that besides its ammonia removing properties, will it crash a marine tank? Is it true that it too will soak up calcium minerals.

Typically, Zeolite if soak in salt solution, this will "recharge" the media. Meaning to say, releasing absorbed toxic ammonia back into water. Kindly enlighten. Thks.

Marine uses a different kind of zeolite stones that are suitable for our parameters. The first zeolite based product for Marine is Korellen Zucht Zeovit. However they are not easily available now in Singapore due to lack of distributor.
