Clownfish and Anemone combo

Recently went to the LFS in Pasir Ris and was told that clownfish tends to play more with some anemone than others... Can anybody share what types of anemone your clownfish are currently "attached" to and how long before they started to attach themselves to the anemone ?

Clownfish have preferences for certain anemones. Sometimes they will still bond with anemones that are not their preferred anemone but the chances are much less.

Unfortunately, the most popular anemones seem to pair up with the most aggressive clownfish. And the most popular clownfish seem to pair up with the most difficult & aggressive anemones.

For example, BTA (bubble tip anemone) pairs best with a maroon clown. Unfortunately, maroon clowns can be quite aggressive.

This should give a decent idea of the pairings:

Very useful information. Now I know why sometimes clown fishes ignore certain anemone.
