C. assarius is rare and hard to get. it's diet in the wild is more planktonic than sessile, and thus it accepts floating aquarium food easily. mysis, pellets and other frozen foods are readily consumed in a healthy fish.

There has only been one piece brought in about 2 years ago by M3MORPH from Dejong marine. it is not a v colorful butterfly so it is not often collected. moreover, western australia fishes are rare and hard to come by

Thanks Lemon. I'd bought a couple recently,

from coral farm right? there were 3 pieces left today and very very good size except for the large one.

good buy, and at a fantastic price. treasure your assarius butterfly. it's a beautiful and rare species.
