Skimmer overflow non stop

Skimmer suddenly go crazy, keep on overflow just suddenly.. There after i Have wash the skimmer last night and off it till morning.

This morning when I turn on, it still the same...

I m using skimZ sm161..

Any reefer had this issue before?

Did u add anything prior to this happening? Any livestock went missing?

Display Tank : 36" x 20" x 20" Herbie overflow box design, Sump : 36" x 21" x 17", Frag Tank : 16” x 20” x 16”, custom built by Tank Culture.

Lightings : Ecotech  Radion XR15 Pro x 2 for Main Display Tank, Inled R80 x 1 for Frag Tank.

Skimmer : Skimz Octa SC205i Protein Skimmer.

FR : H2Ocean FMR75 Fluidised Media Reactor with Hailea HX-2500 (Feeder Pump) running Rowaphos.

CR : Skimz Monzter E Series CM122 Calcium Reactor.

BPR: Marine Source Biopellet  Reactor with Continuum Reef Biopellet Fuel. 

Main Return Pump : SICCE Syncra ADV 9.0 & Jebao ACQ-10000 Water Pump.

Wavemaker : Jebao MOW-9 x2 for Main Display Tank & Jebao SLW-20M  Sine Wave Pump for  Frag Tank.

Water Top Up: AutoAqua Smart ATO Lite.

Hmm I glue one of the coral with I forgot what the name or the glue.. It like a plaster cast.. Yday morning of of the fish died after I came back from work it gone.. I think it was eaten by one of the coral.

I had similar issue too. I am using Skimz SM121. There was once it just keep overflowing after I did a water change. I had to reduce the water level to stop it from overflowing. Took about 1 ~ 2 hours for me to slowly raise the water level to the normal water level.

I think that's your cause. Try to do a 50% water change.

air flow problem?
More likely due to the 2part epoxy putty making the skimmer going into overdrive.
