Hi bro Kakani,

Carbon will remove all medication during treatment so no point of running active carbon which will neutralize the effectiveness of the medication in the QT.

My way of doing is after 7 days medication progress completed(QT) , change water and add the active carbon to neutralize all chemicals for 2~3 days before release the fishes into the DT :P.

Bro, my advice is for QT, dun run too many equipments like DT.. As QT is small, just change water often..oso u dun keep so many fish in QT (best is 1 or 2)..so bioload will b lesser..

Ur QT is for new fish or sick fish?..QT need not b big, unless u getting big fish..best is dun mix the fishes together during quarantine as disease will spread..that's the purpose of having a QT instead of beta tank..
