Was lucky enough to be the few to get hold of one bottle of Nualgi aquarium during their trial to see if it works to help solve this problem.

To cover up and protect the "Visible " piping from being accidentally step upon and break, i get my reno Carpenter to customize a wooden cover block to cover up and hide all the ugly piping .

The RO/DI Water top up unit from Madpetz which will helps to compensate against water loss through evaporation in the system.

The refugium tank lighted by one unit of the AI SOL is doing pretty well with lots of pods ,but the chaeto look abit less green maybe due to the lack of nutrient in the tank.

In order to help distribute the water from the main sump tank and to help maintain the consistency of the water parameter of the overall system, i added additional piping running on a ehiem pump which circulate water form the last compartment of the main sump tank to the two sump tank each with a ball valve to control the flow or shut the system if required.

A redsea Prizm hang on skimmer for the QT tank.

gallery_1182_400_16055.jpg

A cap is used to help to isolate the shared sump between the Refugium tank and QT tank.

I started the AI controller setting with 50% of the white and UV , slowly ramping it up to prevent coral from beaching.

Below is my setting for AI till date after one week of slow adjustment upward.

White : 75%

Blue: 100%

Deep blue: 100%

Red: 35%

Green: 35%

UV: 60%

So far the coral polyp extension from some of the new SPS has been good :)

First time trying out the Fauna marine ultra phos , and it look very different from all other P04 remover media in the market. Looking more like a biopallet but heavier in weight. No more flushing of the media before use again ! .

gallery_1182_400_71406.jpg

I notice that the media doesn't really fluidize much inside the FR , but at least i am no longer worried about the media being overflow into the sump tank.
