Hi bros i'm looking at Deltec FR509 for using rowa media.

Heard that this reactor will stop media from flowing out comparing to the regular reactor out there.

Appreciate any bro who have experience using it. Thanks!

from your signature i assume you are using h20 FR for your rowa?

is there a reason for you to change to the FR509?

Yup. i'm currently using H2O Fr, reason of change is due to the media spilling out if i accidentally on the flow too big.

Although only surface agitation is required for Rowa media, but i believe larger flow will hasten the result and for effectiveness.

Hence exploring the option of Deltec FR509.

I am using FR 509. I feel it is still the best FR to use in conjunction with Rowaphos despite trying so many FR of different brand. One thign to note is that it will still spill out if the outflow is still too mcuh for the media to handle though but I feel that I have a greater control
