hey people,

I am currently looking for Thermal adhesive grease and LED drivers with 48v, 700ma output or similar. does anyone know where to get them?

I previously got a tube of Thermal grease from sim lim tower but its not the adhesive kind. For the LED driver, i tried looking at sim lim tower, they only have 12v output, i came across a 48v ouput one but it doesnt look very appealing (doesnt have a brand and doesnt looking professional done)

If anyone is interested in trading thermal adhesive grease with my thermal grease (~70g) please do pm me.

thanks everyone.

for the led driver, why need 48v output? thought most of 3w led clips are 12 v one?

I am not very good with electonics, i am using a layout i saw from somwhere else, connecting LED in series, based on my design, i would need an output of 48V there abouts that is dimmable. I have found a model online just looking to see if i can get them locally.

Bro,

The number of LEDs in series determine the voltage. So if you have 3 LEDs you need 12 v, 6 LEDs 24v and so on

Aquastyle LED is selling them for USD15 as well. Was looking at getting the Maxwellen LED Dimmable Driver (12-20)x3w from them which is USD22. Shipping is USD16. I understand that Meanwell has a good reputation and alot of reefers are using them. Anyone has any experience with Maxwellen drivers?

Bro sherman, youdontknowme, do you guys have any experience in connecting leds in parallels ?

Dont run parallel. U be dividing the amp (current) into number of parallel string. Driver output 1a if run 2 parallel string will only give u max 500ma. Parallel is only good for violet or low current demand led. Most violet is 700ma if u intend to max the intensity. That is my view, kindly counter check online like nano reef forum
