RIP - Lionfish

Hi all.

Very unfortunate! All my 4 lionfish died within days of each other.

What could have happened? Water parameters are fine. The strangest thing is all my original inhabitants are still alive till now! 1 Yellow Goby, 1 Coral Beauty, 1 Banded Shrimp, some Hermit Crabs, some Trochus Snails and 2 rocks of mushrooms.

All 4 Lionfish were eating very well until the day before they die. Each would stop eating and next day, dead on the sand bed and within days of each other! It is possible that they have been infected by some deadly freshwater diseases from the Goldfish and Mollies that I have been feeding them? Actually, this is the only cause of death that I can think of as all the original inhabitants are still alive! The last Lionfish died about 5 days back.

Any thoughts? Anyone?

And there were no wounds, abrasions, cuts or bruises on their bodies when they died!

not because of the FW fishi feed my fsh all ok.. (lions

can't be because of the live feed.. my lion have been feeding on mollies and guppies.. living happily.. only thing is it only swims out at night .

They were with me from 8 Feb to around 29 Feb...about 3 weeks.
