Aggressive coral banded shrimp?

I have a coral banded shrimp which i bought since 17 june in my previous tank and i transferred it over to my new tank on 17 october. It is super aggressive and whenever I put my hand in the tank, it will come out and attack my hand. It will be hiding at his usual cave near the back of the tank but when i put my hand in the front of the tank he will come out and attack it. Sometimes i try to scare it away using my hand but he keeps coming back to attack it after retreating back into his cave. My father has a much bigger coral banded shrimp in his tank but it is not that aggressive and minds its own business. Is this normal?
