Flow rate required for 2ft cube

What is the recommended or best flow rate for a 2ft tank return pump ?

Is 2000/l too large ?

I think it should be enough including your return height head loss.

I used to use one but immediately upgraded to 3500 then 6000.

If you want detritus to be effectively collected in the sump, you need stronger flow. You can look for controlleable dc pump so you can control the flow to your liking.

The pump I'm referring to is the eheim universal pump 1260 . Is that a dc pump ?

No its not but it's a reliable pump. I am not saying that 2400 is not enough. It is for my case. I suggest you get more inputs from other reefers. There is a lot of reefer here with 2 ft tank. Mine is 2 ft cube. I am using jebao dc-6000.
