Yes. Likely due to strong light. Place in in low light area like shaded or far corners of the tank. Hopefully it'll recover in several weeks/months.

If you can see through the flesh, it means the zooxanthellae has been expelled - hence translucent.

If there is still hope if there is still some color -> some zooxanthellae present. Put in low light areas & feed it more regularly (once every few days) since its not able to get much nutrition from the symbiotic zooxanthellae. There is a chance the zooxanthellae will multiply & regain color.

Personally, my first open brain bleached badly (almost white + loss of flesh). Going through the above 'treatment' the past 4 months. Its ~80% recovered.
