Hello, sorry for late up date.

these are pictures of progress we have done last week.

 

went to factory to finish them after successfully procured a really nice wood.

OMG! i forgot to update. those woods are for...

still working on the lifting handles. got work to attend to, so got to pushed back the project til next week. 

will work on electricity on monday. base rocks are also ready

Yes, cos without them, the fixture looks so plain. anyway, what do you think about my LED height? do you think they are too low?

Yes it look a little bit too low and you might have issue with water splashing on to the unit later on which could also damage the unit . Hanging it higher would have a better spread of light in your main tank as well.

how tall do you think i should hang them?

currently its 16 cm from waterline

I think maybe is better to adjust your light when your livestock is in.

I did not use the orpek lighting before, so not sure about the spread of t he light but I hang my AI about 24" from water
