Coral banded Shrimp

Hi everyone!

I like the coral banded shrimp alot and would like to keep one, However, there is a small 1.5inch grey mantis shrimp in one of my rocks. I have two options:
1) Do a bottle trap and get rid of that irritating stomatopod.
2) Go ahead with the Coral banded Shrimp and hope that these two can co-exist together.
Which is a better option? Need some two-cents here.

Option 2 because Coral Band is a boxer shrimp there's a chance he will win the fight. (imo)

If possible better to catch the mantis out.

You never know maybe the boxer will lose the fight hahaha.

Maybe you can buy a lot bigger size ones instead

Don't think they can co-exist together.

Mantis shrimp will sure win and eat up the banded shrimp.

I dunno, my coral banded shrimp gets bullied even by my cleaner shrimp... Don't think he can ever stand a chance with a mantis lol

Mantis Shrimp will end up feasting ya coral banned shrimp. I would choose option 1 if i were u.
