RMX Posted February 8, 2003 Share Posted February 8, 2003 i have roughly 40kg of rocks sitting in a 4ftx1.5 (no overflow), bare bottom, 1/3 filled and only a powerhead 1000lph at one end. question is, is it possible to cycle the rocks this way, with no filters and substrate. the ammonia is pretty high with the rocks jus sitting there. reason no filter is becos i will not be using any filters at all.
