Any recommendation for a good and reliable skimmer for my 244L 3 feet tank. DT is 204L.

Narrowed down to

1. TunZe 9410DC. (Love the auto leveling feature)

2. Deltec

3. Nyos

All user experience is welcome. Thanks in advance.

Heard alot of good things about NYOS. The NYOS 160 would be perfect for your tank size.

Do surf and read up on the pros and cons. Used all except tunze. Each has their plus and minus factors.

Tank : 4 X 2 X 2 with low iron front panel and external overflow

Skimmer : BK SM200 with waste collector

Return Pumps : Red Dragon 6m3 and Ehiem 1262

FR : 2 X Deltec 509 & powered by AB2000

Nitrate Filter : Deltec NF 509 and tee off from AB2000

Calcium R'tor : Deltec PF 501 with RM secondary chamber

Kalkwasser R'tor : Deltec KM500

Chiller : Pansonic 1 HP Compressor with 20m titanium Coil

Wave Makers : 4 X Tunze 6055 with 7096 & Vortec MP40w

Controller : GHL Profilux

Lighting : ATI Powermodule 10 or 8 tubes

Water Top-up : Water Top-Up tank powered by Tunze Osmolator

External Monitor : American Pinpoint pH and Temp. Monitor for main tank and GHL Profilux Controller to measure temp, pH, Redox

Ozonizer : Sander C50

UV : Corallife 6x

Thanks bro. Have been reading and there’s no outright winner. Not helping that the brands I’m looking at all priced about the same. Faint.

Looking at the eshopps skimmers too. Seems like value for $. Don’t know if any bro here used before.

do consider size, sensitivity and collection cup, apart from price, quality, power consumption, etc. in the past, few technologies ard for skimmer but now mostly depend on the skimmer pump. Ways to adjust are important. Sometime too many ways may not be good unless u are a technical n hands on person for fine tuning.

Agree bro. Not a very technical person. I had to tinker my skimmer daily for a while. It’s basically on dry skim now. Easily overflow or not enough air. Driving me crazy trying To fine tune daily after work.
