caught a mantis from my tank today..

was looking at the tank then saw these all-too-familiar pair of eyes looking out at me. i immedately got a stick and tried to get it out of the hole, but it didn't work. so i put some salt down the hole and a second later, it shot out. caught it with a net.

it's one of the smasher types, and about an inch long. kept punching the stick that i put into the hole.

will hate to see this bugger grow to 2 inches or more in my tank...

oh well...

handed it over to my 4 inch peacock mantis (as seen below), which promptly smashed it up and ate it.

stocking has been rather slow as i have been busy with my school's study camp and all... aquired some new stuff though.

nvm. here's the pseudochromis i bought to eat my renegade camel shrimp. it (the shrimp) has already destroyed a branch of my hammer coral. just hope this guy here does its job...

btw. anyone noe what species it is?

lastly, my elegance coral. this piece is huge and definately my fav coral. had it for abt a month already.

so i guess that's it for now.

i find that the colours of my corals don't really stand out. perhaps the kelvin temp too low? thinking of changing my bulbs to 14,000K. any opinions?
