Photo Taking Setting

I am currently holding on Ixus2 digi cam... whenever i took pic or my tank and load it into com.. it is not that nice... not like sum of u guys posted pic.. which is quite nice and clear.... Can anione teach me wat settings should i set before i took pic of my tank......

Macro mode. very important. I think the Ixus cannot be controlled manually...if not it'll be even easier to take fantastic photos. (=

I think IXus can controlled manually such as different lite settings environment....... correct me if i am wrong...... so i will try using MAcro mode... by the way how to set maCro mode?? hee hee ..thank alot...

read the instruction booklet to find out. I'm not an Ixus user, sorry. (=

but knowing Canon cameras, it probably is done by moving a circular knob to a picture of a flower. (=

I'm using an Olympus camera and its also a pic of a flower to show its in macro mode. Anyway, I also realised that my pics turned out better when I didnt use flash but just the light from the tank itself.

My gf have a IXUS II, it can be set to manual. Using the Macro mode will need lots of tuning and the shutter speed must be set at a faster range. And IXUS II really consumes lots of batt, after focusing for a few mins, batt gets hot. Use for more than 45mins, no batt...haha...
