Hermit Crab

Anyone know if those blue legged hermit crabs will attack fishes and star fish or not?

i just got 2 last week..

so far no problems...

will look and see if any snails go missing though

I got one two months back and after 2-3 days, a portion of my beautiful 6-bar's tail got snipped off! I think it did it to my goby's tail as well.(must have caught them unaware while they were sleeping)

I immediately banished it into the sump and he could go snip my 1260 for all i care!

Bottomline is beware....esp if you have some expensive fishes. you dun want them to lose a fin or tail.

wonder if anyone else had this experience?

What else can I use to clean up my tank then??? Got quite a bit of algae in the tank....

Snails.

try those astrea snails...

i got 2 in my 2 footer. 1 big and 1 small. they are very hardworking.

1st day in their new home, they cleaned out the brown algae on the tank wall. they also clean my power head
