convert 3ft FL to PL

Hi bro,

Will need your help on this:

Currently i have a 3ft FL light with casing...IS it possible that i change the ballast and tube inside to make it a 55w PL light? And how do i do it??

Think the ballast will be too big to be placed into ur casing, unless you want to house it externally.

Go Sim Lim Tower and get the ballast, end caps and wires.

55W PL is less than 2' and you are housing it in a 3', so you should have no problem to find a square type e ballast that can fit.

If you want to do this, basically you are taking out everything inside except the reflector. Change the ballast, clip and the end cap and do some wiring, that's all.

hummm....T5 have gotten cheap enough....why don't you consisder using T5, brighter and cooler then PL....
