Hi Guys,

I'm very new to this hobby. so bear with me if i may accidently make blunders/stupid remarks...

My current tank is a 4x1.5x1.5ft tank. I guess I've ran out of space for my fishes and corals. This first tank wasn't meant as marine setup. I didn't do much research when i bought it. But alas, I hope i've done enough for me to get it corrected this round. Took abt a month of persistent persuasion to convince the finance minister at home to get a 2nd tank.

a mini intro of my current tank :

3weeks passed and my new tank was delivered on Saturday.

I had it customised, the bottom cabinet is increase by another 7-8inches or so(to accomodate the skimmer. And the cover has been increased to 12inches.

In total, it's abt 6ft tall. Very troublesome when i need to clean up the tank. that's my first observation.

chiller specs...

1/2hp @ 405w

Able to drop water temperature @ 1C per hour for a 550L(incl sump) of water.

Able to have up to 4C temp diff before compressor kick in. But set it at 25-28.

VERY HOT. Have to add 2 ventilation fan to suck the hot air.

enough abt the SUMP/SKIMMER/ReturnPump/Piping... now, let's continue to the next section. Tank itself.

it's being re-inforced(on the bottom) with 2 strips of 10mm glasses. I understand that in the long run, the silicone glue may give way. adding the 2 strips of the 10mm glasses is for added support. something like that lah... i'm not good in these kinda stuffs.
