Seawater or DIY saltwater?

Hi,

Recently heard that seawater bought from farms are esp good and ppl even commented their corals seems to be opening bigger with seawater and marine fish, more radiant and livelier. Is it truth or plain Bull shit?

Is there any advantage of using seawater over DIY water?

Will using seawater enhance anything?

For once, i only know if i uses seawater, maybe there will be no or less problems from phosphate, silicate and chloramine (all from tap water)

yup...but most comments are rather skew to one aspect.

I thought i might be able to gather some info from bros who tried both methods to share their real live experiences..

Depends on how well you do a DIY mixture......

I tend to use seawater but only after i've tested it first.
