reduced skimmate?

is that normal?

1st time i'm running rowaphos in a reactor though,

compared to the old method of using the filter bag,

i noticed

-more than usual orange sediment

-tank is clouded for longer (2 days)

-and my H&S doesn't skim anymore!

feeding is as per normal but the cup is empty,

lots of bubbles still but don't seem to foam up like before

Could be the chemicals in the new FR causing the skimmer not to skim. You'll need to wait for it to break in again.

yes, it happen to my skimmer too. this morning break-in and begin to skim again

Did you clean the FR with warm water before using it?

I know when I changed my sump it took like 4-5 days for my skimmer to start skimming again

u are rite.. i clean mine last nite and this morning starts to skim.
