My new calcium reactor

Got the Calcium reactor from cookiemunster two weeks ago due to my low calcium and DKH. Must thank cookiemunster for the nice piece of equipment done up for me. Now my calcium level are maintained at 550ppm and KH at 12dkh. Even my coraline algae is growing very fast.

Some info on the CR

ARM capacity in the CR :8kg

Bubble rate : 1 bubble per 9 second

The CO2 is not wasted even if i increased the bubble rate as it will be wipe

up into the bottom of the CR by the eheim pump.

It is not a must if you have FOWLR. For a reef tank, using CR will save you a lot of maintenance in the long run. Cost wise compare to manual top up may be the same.

how much is the CR?? BTW, do you need a C02 to run the CR?? sorry..confussed here..
