prizm skimmer

is the prizm skimmer is suitable for a 3 ft tank? what to get for skimmer "prizm skimmer" or "weipro skimmer"? which one the best skimmer? . Well i got a 3ft tank. pls i need somebody opinion

Prizm is suitable for up to 2ft IMO, dun believe wat they say about being able to skim up to 4ft or more. Only advantage is its size, can hang on ur tank if you dun have a sump. Otherwise, for 3 ft, go for Weipro, more worth ur money and better skimmate.

Prizm is a very good skimmer for 2ft. Currently using it for my 2.5ft and it is skimming lotsa disgusting stuff out of my tank. Think it is better than weipro2011 that I use before the prizm.

Hmm actually there is no best skimmers in the world. For skimmers, it all depends on individual preferences. For me i would choose the Prism as it works better then Weipro. Seen the results before. Produces very good skimmate.

Afterall, i would still recommend you to use Macro skimmers. Its my choice as i think the skimmate produced is thick. And furthermore, you can tune the skimmer to produce different kinds of skimmate.
