Need help from u experts.

How to prevent further growing of diatoms on the surface of DSB?

And how to remove it?

Currently using a cannister (Filtration consists of phosguard/bio rings/corals chip/ activated carbon and bio sponge.

Pls enlighten.

diatoms will dissapear after your water quality gets better after another few more weeks when cycling.. and also if u wanna remove it and its at your DSB..

Get turbo snails it helps to clean the diatoms...

there is other type of snails or marine creatures eating diatoms.. only some not in my knowledge yet..

My diatom and cyano died weeks ago. I add in Matrix Carbon, Phosguard and Rowaphos. Did weekly water change and added 10 turbos(they really help) to eat the diatoms. They will go away after the phos n silicate burns up

That's right. Give your diatoms some time to burn out. It should be gone in another couple of weeks.

Keep a close watch on your water condition.
