my brown anemone began spitting brown coloured substances similar to its colour over night.

it began last night but i thought it was poo but this morning....the whole thing shink ALOT and the thing it spit out is ALOT too!

it's been doing fine for a month.

wat's happeneing?!

Think u gotta get it out from your tank immediately. It's gettin it's death cert. Get it out fast if not some other lives will be on their way also.

it was doing well for a month.....

aniwae...there's a anemone shrimp that's symbiotic with it....wat should i do with the shrimp now?...poor thing has no more anemone to stay with

ya, its a sign that ur anemone is dying. you gotta get it out of the tank immediately, otherwise ur tank will crash. its not gonna be a pretty sight.

The anemone is trying to adjust it's internal water chemistry when it expand and shrink and also trying to flush out it's wastes. (it only got 1 mouth)

How many times is it expanding and shrinking a day?

Your anemone is either injured or stressed and it's expelling it's zooxanthellae if it's dark brown in color.

Light color smoke like is spawning.

Is there a sudden spike in any water parameters?

it got so small and so out of shape i'm super sure its dead....

i'm quite sure its not enough lighting...regret regret

go get polyfilter and GAC aka Activated Carbon and run through your tank now.

i removed it a couple of horus after it died so id on't think it polluted the tank by much and i already haf those things running.

i do a water change every 2 weeks

change about 10 percent
