Thanks bro.

I thinks it is just a pure luck that everything goes smoothly since I set up this new tank on Oct 2004.

Furthermore I did not put much time on chemical additives or water parameter.

Everything just grow. :D

My last 4 ft which already matured, I failed keeping SPS.

Every equipment was the same with current tank, except the skimmer.

I do not know the problem.

Rgds

Don't bother too much about additives. Just remember to test your water so that the major parameters like kH and Calcium are ok. I have stop dosing anything other than Mg additive coz the Tropic Marine Pro Reef salt I using has low Mg content.

You already got the answer why your old tank can't keep SPS while your new tank is doing well.........skimmer???

My Monti Frag has turned Pink.

This Frag was bought from fellow reefer.

Over the months it has grown very fast but colour is getting lighter too.

Could it be place to close to the MH light ?

Here is the picture of the comparison of the same monti when I just got it.

wow nice

Thanks Bro.

Just worried that it is due to strong light and it is bleaching.

The other new monti is placed side by side.

Hope to see colour changes in the next few months.

But I do not know for good or bad. :D

Bro your first monti cap looks bleached lah. If can move it to a lower light or partly shaded area. The tissue look very thin. :o

I know your other cap placed nearby doesn't have the problem but could be the other piece is weaker or stressed thus having this bleaching problem.

I am very free today, decided to take some photos and compare with the old one.

A few months back my coco worm was blown off, leaving the stem empty.

Now a new cocoworm has fully grown from the old stem but colour not as nice as before. ;)

This chevron like to eat the alage on the glass tank.

I have 2 True percula clown.

They are not paired and occasionally they still fight after so many months.

But each of them they have their own territory/house.

It is not anemone but hammer and noddle.

This is the Fierce one

I heard from coral farm staff that paired percurla usually 1 big and 1 small.

Due to the odd size, I bought individually and just mixed them.

The Percula has been with me for 5 months.

Very lovely fish to watch.

:D
