water level in macro needlwheel skimmer

anyone can tell me where the water level inside the

skimmer should be?

above the neck or what?

my 150 model water level I use to set.

Please do give the skimmer sometime to break in when is new. Couple days needed.

Do not turn off the skimmer off and on frequently as it will takes sometime for the foam to form again.

hmm i have problem setting at that level

mine only can set higher at that level even i turn the knot

to the fullest

Try raising your skimmer from sump. Raising the skimmer will cause the pressure head to drop and this will in turn lower the water level in your skimmer.

Is higer the skimmer ( mean knot is full open ) mean more flow to the skimmer ?
