free firewall/antivirus program??

Anyone knows where can i download free internet security program/firewall and

AntiVirus programs??

I'm looking for those that don't have trial period type.....

Any good recommendation?

For firewall you can use zone alarm.

Antivirus :

know of bit-torrent?

get it from downloads.com then go to the torrent website and dl any program you want..

usually, u'll need to have WinRAR and DAEMON Tools as well to run these 'friendly' versions..

Well I use for firewall: zone alarm

antivirus: grisoft

so far both free and gd for home use
