  2. Hi, selling a well used Sunsun 55w UV Steriliser previously used on my DT which I’ve upgraded. Please collect from Jurong West Extension. Thank you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Just finished reading your thread after coming back into the hobby and learning everything from scratch again, I find your almost scientific take on almost everything very captivating, informative and well written for the common man to digest. Looking forwards to more updates and nice tank! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Hi, Ordered three 1lb bottles of the BRS General Bonding Super Glue to do up my Marcorock aquascape and I eventually only used slightly over a bottle hence I'm selling the unopened one (about 450g) for $45. As far as I understand, this is not available in Singapore. Worked well on the DD Rocks too but I only made 3 joints with that and it's all small pieces so can't really confirm if it can work with other rocks. Works well in creating a strong bond between the rocks by using the Marcorock powder as it's very thin, almost like water, and soaks into the powder. It's exactly the same as the Gluemasters Thin glue that Tidal Gardens made a video on as I also ordered one bottle of that which cost slightly more than the BRS glue. Some links for reference below: https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/brs-general-bonding-super-glue-bulk-reef-supply.html Thank you.

  6. Did cleaning the fan solve the overheating problem? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Reviving this 10 year old thread! How's the longevity of the kapur stands vs chengai (chengal) now? How about the new extruded aluminum stands that are popular now? Are there any methods or coating that you can apply on kapur stands to let them last longer? Reason for failure is is mainly due to it being wet often? Can adding vents in the cabinet help to reduce the humidity therefore extending the lifespan of the stands?
  8. Nice scape, especially the arch. What rocks are these and how many kg did you use to create this scape? Joined with superglue? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Hi is this sold yet or still available? I’m interested if it’s still available. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Have a pic of your rocks? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Tell us how it works out. Probably need to lower the % of water change to like 5% each time since it can be set so that your return compartment doesn’t run dry. If your return pump and ATO can be controlled, then switch those off during the water change might help. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Automating certain repetitive processes always makes the hobby more enjoyable! I’m planning for my reef tank too and have also planned to have auto water changes and have decided to use the peristaltic pumps, likely the Ecotech Versa or Kamoer F4. Main consideration was that I don’t need to put additional pumps everywhere with the Smart AWC or other similar products. My reservoir is also about 10m away with 2.6m head and the impeller pumps likely won’t be able to handle the distance. What are you planning to use for auto top off? 13. Any one in Singapore with a Par meter that we can rent or better borrow to check the levels in the tank? Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  14. 55mm length x 45mm depth x 50mm height is what mine is. Plus minus 1mm... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Is there any medication for cyanide poisoning?
  16. It's understood that they would have the highest fatalities considering all the circumstances against them. You just have to be careful while riding. On a bike, traffic jams won't affect you (huge time saver), if you wanna go ANYWHERE, you can definitely find parking lots (most bikers would prefer to park free or illegally so just find an ERP / Coupon carpark and lots there are in abundance) and also the much cheaper running cost to own a bike. The setback I can think of is when it rains BUT get a bike with a box and keep a raincoat in there. 5 mins is all it takes. Funny thing about drivers are they always complain when the ERP increases or when a new gantry goes up when they are the main contributors to the jams. If you need to transport your parents or buy some huge things(IKEA), then that's the time to take a cab. Total cost would still be cheaper than a car as you won't be doing that all the time. Anyway, those are just my thoughts. Just hope people can see an advantage to riding instead of adding to the congestion on the road in a car with ONE(or two) person(s) in it.
  17. Have you considered getting a bike? It's the best mode of transport .. really! Though most would disagree.
  18. bro could you post a pic of the tank please. can't find your previous thread.. thanks

  23. i tired the internet and i tried the library... but i don't have any clue how it's done! my dad was thinking of painting the house as the last time we did it was 4 years ago... the lime green has almost become yellow! my mom on the other hand, dosen't like the rockstone on the walls because the little bumps slowly become grey (read: dust) and we agree... so now my dad's trying to find a way to remove rockstone on the walls and ceilings... i read online abt a kind of solvent where u apply on the wall, leave it to dry for abt 30mins and then use a scrapper to scrap the rockstone off. but i can't seem to find it anywhere in singapore.. tried homefix and self-fix all that but they never heard of it. but i noticed that many ppl here are renovating their homes and all that so maybe u know of some contractors that can do the job for me ya? know of a 'clean' way to do it? because the guy at home-fix suggested using the sanding machine and sand of the rockstone! probably at the end of the day i'll die of asthma. another reason for it to be a 'clean' removal is so that i do not have to move out for a few days for them to complete the job... as u can see, i only have 1 house.. so any1 know of any solutions?
