Is Anemone dying?

I bought a long tentacles anemone for my clarkii clown on Sunday. I find that my clown keeps on plunging itself onto the anemone and keeps on moving around. Today, my anemone shrink itself into a ball with its tentacles all winkled and shrinked into a ball. Is my anemone stressed out and dying? I also noticed that it gave out a little slime but this has stopped. Should I throw the anemone away before it really dies off and gives out toxic? Tks for feedbacks.

best if you have pic.because the way you said is not detail enough, some more may be due to stress the anemone does not wan to 'open'

as long as it still has the ability to stick itself to a rock, it shld be ok...

try givin it a small piece of meat n see how it goes

Agreed with bro Clownfish.But if still doesn't open up soon then I am afraid you got to remove it before it dies and pollute your tank.

do u still see their tentacle? u can try to use something to touch it, if it just dissolve a bit when u touch it, I think u better remove it immediately b4 it kill all ur LS inside. This happened to me once about a year ago!!

killed my sailfin tang, my cow fish and all other LS except my clownfish and damsels...

Tks Guys for all your feedbacks. I've removed the anemone and threw it away this afternoon after I noticed that it gave out some slime. True enough, the tentacles have in fact gone rotten. Phew, lucky me before it kills all my LS.
