dead part caused by rubber band

just got a sps and it was attached to a styrofoam using rubber band..

notice a white patch(under the rubber band).. that part is dead already.. should i use super glue to cover up that part or should i just leave it ??

can i call that as stn?? its definitely not rtn as it din spread as yet...

Could be bleaching due to stress of being tied up... take a close look if there are polyps extending or izit really STN?? If its really STN, den better superglue!!
