Cheap??? Method of Reefing ...

Recommended Posts

Dispar Anthias is right, although I salute Lizard44 for admitting that his previous method/s is wrong.

I am also sadden by the fact that many fishes and corals have suffered be in deaths or stress be it directly by Lizard44 or indirectly through those who read this thread and have follow suit.

I truly hope that the mods could kindly consider pinning this thread up so that others will not try to re-invent the wheels. ;)

Let's all work towards "Responsible Reefing"!

Hi lizard44!

I am puzzle why the baking soda and washing soda as buffer don't work? When I first start on marine, I used to mix 1 part of washing soda with 6 part of baking soda (learn from net) and used that as buffer. However, I find it troublesome to bake baking soda (I did once only) into washing soda so after the dose finish, I never bother to do it again. (With all the hassle, you save only few dollars)

As for sugar dosing, beside ph is being closely monitor, how about other parameters?

:) Greeting :)
