I've changed to an industrial grade temperature controller that has 1 decimal place. Cost $100 plus. So what's so great?

The main advantage is the differential* can be set up to decimal places, better in regulating the compressor on/off interval. And also reducing the temperature fluctuation of the main tank.

IMO, this is a very efficient chiller. Unlike some brands that overstate its capacity. And it's more reliable too. The specification is in the picture.

*Differential = After the compressor shut down when water temperature reaches the preset, how many degrees increase in water temperature will turn compressor back on again.
