hi all, would like to know wats this red bamboo algae u all mentioning. where to get it?

My YT is feeding well on frozen mysis and brine shrimp, would like to get him more variety.

Tangs love algae, and red bamboo can be easily found at most lfs. Its not very expensive, prob just $2-4 for a stalk. anyway got mine from iwarna ytd, can try there.

Mine is e yellow eye tang not yellow tang leh...Purple tang eating lettuce n all types of fd..Onli tis yellow eye tang not eating...Abt 1.5wks liao...Beri worie abt it....Will go n get e bamboo algae asap n try...tks

Hihi yellow-eyed tang is kole rite.

I have a very healthy kole that just scraps algae n stuff off my rocks. He did that for 6 mths already. Last week then it finally started to eat live brineshrimps. So i guess as long as it s healthy& tummy not sunken, shdnt wori too much

wow then i'm considered lucky....mine scrap alage for 2 months before deciding to feed on pellet....and that's becuase he saw other fish eating it.....

Me jzt bought a big stalk of red bamboo algae...

Instead of yellow eye tang eating,my purple tang is pecking at it happily..

sigh........

Hope tat yellow eye will noe how to eat it soon......
