hi guys....i'm thinkin of doing a major overhaul for my tank. was wondering whether there is any way i can "clean" the Live Rocks that are currently in my tank. would like to make sure that there are no unwanted parasites or whatever that may have previously inhabited in the rocks. is it okay to spray and wash the rocks with tapwater and scrub the rocks with a brush? or is there any better or correct way to do this so that i can be confident that i am introducing good clean live rocks clear of parasites or unwanted organisms? thanks a million in advance..... :)

hi thanks for all the replies. my water parameters are ok except that my nitrate is high at about 70mg/l. my filtration system is a IOS one so i guess its sorta like a nitrate factory. PH is at 8.2 but temp is at 30. am not running chiller so its all thanks to the damn hot weather these days. anyway is there any other way to clean the rocks apart from leavin them in very high salinity water? any suggestions or comments are welcome!! :D
