tile fish

It eats stuff floating in the water column, so unless your shrimp is small enough, around the size of mysis, and swims around all the time, I don't think there'll be any problem. I have 3 tilefishes together with ###### shrimp, glass shrimp and cleaner shrimp, so far no predatory problems yet.

abit of extra information for ambystoma82 , pls try not to scare the tile fish... they r good jumpers.. shoot out of the tank like rocket... beware k...

i had a purple tile fish which i kept for 5 months then one morning found it on the floor... dried....

reason for death still remains a mystery

Yes i love tilefishes..... Kept a pair for abt 6 mths n then one morning found them as dried fish on floor..... they jump even when not frightened..... only had a very sml gap n somehow they managed to so choon get thru..... sad...........
