hi all, i would like to ask a few question at marine fish tank.

[Q1] Wad is the budget for the most simple tank which only house 2 COMMON CLOWN FISH? I wanna use as little live rocks as possible

[Q2] Wat should the thickness of a 2ft marine tank?

[Q3] Wad should the flowing rate be for a 2ft fish tank which only house 2 COMMOM CLOWN FISH?

[Q4] Will internal filter do? Or need externa filter?

To keep two clown fish in a 2 footer u need only undergravel filters. undergravel plates are really cheap. Use reverse flow if possible and a powerhead to drive the undergravel instead of air stones.

Technology only plays a part but the main ingrediant in marine fishkeeping is patience. I have kept marine fishes using undergravel filters in the past, no problem at all.

Have fun and enjoy this wonderful hobby. Keeping FO system need not be expensive.

Hmmm..., undergravel filter? I wouldn't wan to encourage. rather a hang on filter will be better.

for 2 feet can just grab a "five-plan" brand tank at most LFS.

Live rocks try to stay with 10kg for good biological filtration but if you can't help it, than at least get 6kg.

try to get flow rate that can turn your tank volume around 10 times and with a flow adjuster for better tuning. Coupled with the flow from a top hang on filter, you got that covered.

Won't internal filter takes up more space? A canister would do well here but you should make use of a skimmer as your primary flltration.
