There are many types of anthias in the market, can you guys share your experience? I understand not all are easy to keep eg square spot anthias.

A good one to start is dispar. Cheap and easy to feed. But just a note that all anthais require basic good water parameters.

Not sure if i am qualified to reply this.

Bought 2 from pasir ris last sunday. Its more orangy and it from bali. The lady tht sold me said tis is easier to keep.

Hopefully i dont hv to rebuke her claim.

yes dispar is easy but frm personal experience, i found that Lyretail Anthias even easier. My dispar took abt 4-5 days b4 they started eating. My female lyretails fed almost immediately. Hv 4 of these Lyretail Anthias hoping to see one transform frm female to male. Dispar is harder to differentiate between males n females.

Lyretail are easy to keep, but the male is extremely aggressive. May not be a good choice for that reason.

Barletts will be a good choice hahahha

but one barletts cost around 6 diapar

how about those pink colour anthias ? coral farm selling S$8.90 each but when i tried to feed them with pellets they are not eating it

How about trying to feed them with frozen brian shrimp, that might help.

mysis is a better choice as it has higher nutritional contents.....

Anywae,i have tried dispar and those purple ones(not purple queen),and i can sae dispar is definitely easier...

On top of that they require heavy feedings and aggresive tankmates may scare them.....

I havent seen lyretail in LFS b4...

IMO,the most common ones seems to be dispar...PR has sunset and sunrise anthias occassionally.....
