Shell for Hermit Crab

Hi,

I have some hermit crabs in tank, just need to check after some time we wee need to put in some bigger shell for them to change?

as I experience these hermit did kill the snails and take over the shell. So when it grow bigger and bigger, do we need to find some empty shell and put in the tank for them to change?

they can be very choosy...

thinking of increasing my hermit crab... from 2 - 6..

i prefer shrimps, coral and crabs to fishes

you put too many hermit crabs, they will fight + kill each other as well.
