Hi,

My Weipro's been running for the past 4 days and it's been either overskimming (overflowing my cup) or not skimming properly when I cover a little bit of the air hole.

I've tried adjusting the flow valve of the skimmer to the lowest and it still overflows when I don't cover the air valve. Now I'm really suspecting that my PH could be too strong for the skimmer.

Anyone managed to get the 2011 with 3000 submerge pump running on a 2ft tank?

Please share with me your opinions.

:thanks:

hi there,

i have the same set up as you...2011 skimmer with 3000 pump

i do not cover the air hole

my pump is placed outside the tank(inside tank, temp rises by 1 degree and is noisy)

i do not have any problems with skimmin good skimmate.

the skimmer shouls take about 2 weeks to kick in properly.

Would like to check with you something.

Do you experience the same problem which I'm experiencing now during your skimmer kick-in period?

:thanks:
