Thanks all for replying.

Dazza, I did everything you've done except for adding the nutrafin abt 4 days ago. The fellow just got worse....

Now, the pupil (or the black thing on yr eyeball) is facing upwards...

Only good news is the fellow is happily feeding and not too shy. Hope it really fades away...

The eye just pop out!!!

You can now see the eye-socket.... Anyone with a fish-size pirate eye-patch :D

Still happily feeding though, but seems more agressive, chasing my flame angel when it comes too near.

So you have a rare 1 eye jack yellow angel. That's cool.

Just kidding. Sorry to hear that.

wiao actually this is the first time i ever heard of the eye actually popping out. My fishes who had it b4- anthias, pocuppine & golden trevally all recovered in the past. In fact the pocuppine n trevally subsequently outgrown my old 4 footer n were released.. The anthia is still swimming ard happily in the tank. No evidence of the pop eye at all...

Maybe next time can sell this 'rare' & 'unique' fish for a large sum...

$1xx anyone

Being able to see the bloody eye socket, quite yucky :sick:

On a serious note, will try to maintain good quality water, at least for the next few days to prevent infection... So lesser feeding and cleaning the skimmer. (sounds like I actually know what am I doing..)

the problem that occure oftenly can be the problem of your sump

try to add more sump or skimmer may be better to reduce this problem
