Diamond Energy Water.

Hi all,

Can anyone share with me whether the above mentioned falls under DI or RO or others water category. I have been using it for top up....any comments or reviews?

No, the Diamond brand water is not RO or DI type water. They are just basically "filtered-water", or can say is "ceramic-filtered-water plus some -proprietary-invention-so-and-so "

Personally, I always using this type of water, been more than 6 months.

Well, let's just say "so far so good".

Bear in mind that this water is MAINLY mean for human comsumption, not for aquarium purpose. So, dont put too much "expectation" on it over our marine tank

since we are on the topic on DEW, i would like to share with you my experience.

IF u are using this filter and the tap provided by them, please occassionally check if the there are any metal flakes that comes out from the tap. I had been using this filter for the past few years and never notice this problem till earlier this year. I had since complained and had a tap replacement done but the problem still occurs after 6 months. You can see the metal flakes if you use a white cup and especially if you have just clean the internal part of the tap.

The other problem is that one of the internal filter can sometimes burst internally and there are white particles coming out of the filter. For this case, it is quite difficult to notice this white particles. I can only see them in a stainless steel container under bright lights and careful examination.

I have since launched a major complaint and demanded that the customer service send my filter and tap perform a test on them and let us have a report on what are these particles that we have been drinking over the past few years and months. I am still waiting for the report (2.5 weeks already)

Thanks for your information. Any more bro and sis out there have these similar problems as well. Maybe we should gather more feedback and launch a major complaint against them if more of us have a similar situation. This equipment don't come cheap....that's the worst part
