mixing salt and weekly water

hey guys ,

do u think that the mixing salt for our weekly water change to enough for our nano ( mini reef, more than just fishes) to maintain its ecosystem.

if not , what addictive do u dose to maintain ur ecosystem?

calcium ? i.e. kalk ? iodide? or even strotium? and magnesium to maintain pH?

please share with mi

IMHO, weekly water change will do fine. but u need to pay careful attention to the salinity of ur water change as it could be drastic to a reef system, esp a nano reef.

i have a auto water top up, so i think it is okie as it is .

is corallife salt able to perform the job well enough for a mini reef tank ?

i suggest tropic marin for water change..

How loaded is the tank? Lots of LPS/SPS or just softies?

If loaded with SPS/LPS, then you got to watch out for KH/CA/MG depletion and thus most probably will need to dose CA/KH/MG supplements to maintain correct steady levels.

i suggest tropic marin for water change..

tropic marine is a good salt , but expensive in my own opinion ...

maybe marine environment le ...

just intend to load it with softies and some LPS like hammer and frogspawn.

will buy CA/KH/MG supplements from petmart this sat
