My frogfish ....not sure which one ..but its quite small and is yellow with reddish markings ...

Keeps hiding near my skimmer when there is plenty of live rock for him to hide ...

Will his behaviour change in time ? I mean of course I prefer him among the rocks ..

He eats when I feed him though ..

I don't think anglers are territorial. They do however have their own favourite perch or resting place lying in wait for their prey.

In my frogfish tank, I arrange the rocks in such a way that they are no small holes or caves where the fish can hide. All small crevices I use small tonga branches to cover up.
